I first found this site during your initial Facebook Beacon surge, but I subscribed simply because I love it when a great idea can come to full fruition. I hoped that in a way this site might stimulate me to come up with that crazy idea that just might work, and actually act on it, and while it hasn't happened yet, I still have hope.
On another note, I've been using the Firefox 3 Beta 2 for a little while now and I've noticed that the new quick bookmark star replicates much of the functionality provided by Read it Later. You may want to rethink what direction you want to take the extension in once you've had a chance to try Ff3 for yourself.

@Basil: Thanks, comments like that make it all a lot easier. :)

@Kevin: Don't worry about screwing up. It's going to happen. And it's gonna happen a lot. Just keep your head up and keep moving. I think you're off to a great start, you've already got something going instead of just thinking about doing it. That's half the battle anyway.

I totally agree with Basil.

Nate, when I first came upon your blog from Digg, I was in awe that you hit the front page after the blog had only been up for a limited time. I thought you were extremely lucky, but from this post I understand more of what happened that fateful night.

I like your stand on how you don't really need all the famous connections and money to start something like this or Idea #13. What really matters is a good idea and a good plan and more people are beginning to value that. Despite still being in high school, I hope to go down that same exact path of creating something just from an idea. Hope I don't screw up!

Good luck in all your future endeavors. I'm looking forward to Idea #36 ;D

Nate, I first read your blog when I saw it linked on lifehacker, but what kept me coming back (and caused me to add your feed to my reader) was the way you write. I'm not a developer and thus can't get much from lots of your content, but something about how you go about your business seems refreshing and new- not as jaded and egotistical as many other blogs of this type.

That and your read it later idea was brilliant ;)
