Gina,

Is it just one specific item that is a problem or can you not remove any links?

Also, when you say you are deleting it, are you deleting the bookmark through Firefox's bookmarks or marking it as read through RIL?

Can you send me the URL as well?

Hi! I've got an irritating problem. I have repeatedly deleted one link from my list but it won't go. I uninstalled and reinstalled Read it Later but the link is still there, which I find odd.

This is the first problem I've had with it. It's a very nice gadget and I use it all the time.

I'm running RIL on two separate machines, both running XP Pro, with FF 3.0.3. I'm having Location Bar issues on both machines. When I first start up the browswer, the Location Bar is "dead". The RIL icons don't appear in it, and I cannot go to any URLs I type in. I have to "Customize" the toolbars, remove the Location Bar and then return it to it's original locattion.

Even after I re-enable the Location Bar, the RIL icons are separated. I always see separate check marks for Save and Mark as read. Screen shot at http://bayimg.com/paLoAAaBk.

Is this an RIL issue? Probably conflict with another extension?

Thanks

@AngelSong

You should be able to move Read It Later's book icon to another toolbar. What happens when you do?

@Alfred

You can change the feed_id / password. Click the 'Access Anywhere' button at the top of your reading list for more info.

Fantastic extension - I used to have multiple windows open for later reading, but this is a much much better way to handle information flow.

One small suggestion about syncing: rather than use the RIL-generated sync name (that no-one can remember), allow users to generate their own sync names (like "Fred_work_list") and passwords. You can make rules for the names, like no spaces, etc., so that they can still be used for the URLs.

(Internally the program can map these to the RIL sync name of course, so it does not need to be such a huge change to your program).
