Del.ici.ous Suggestions

I have been using RIL since yesterday in FF3 and I love it. It's very handy, but there is a long way to go.

Some suggestions

3. I use delicious a lot. When adding a link to the delicious page, keep the original page and create a new window as it happens with the new delicious extension instead of going to the delicious page and then coming back to the original page.

Is there a way you can automatically save the page to delicious or another bookmarking service? If not, that would improve this greatly for me.

Yeah, you guys should have Delicious support by default. That would be awesome! Right now I use their bookmarklet, but if you offered that support I could switch to using you guys completely.

    Hey Darren

Just to clarify, what exactly do you mean by offer support for Delicious?

You can save links to Delicious in the Firefox ext, iPhone app (Pro version), and Digest.

In the RIL app for iPad, the delicious in-app link goes to a form that doesn't use tag completion, thereby greatly lowering it's value.

A sample ajax version URL looks like this

    http://delicious.com/save?url=http%3A%2F%2Fcwe.mitre.org%2Fdata%2Fdefinitions%2F310.html&title=CWE%20-%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20CWE-310%3A%20Cryptographic%20Issues%20(1.9)%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20&v=5&noui=1&jump=doclose

Please switch the app to using this better URL which also automatically closes when done.    Private comment hidden

Agreed. I've just upgraded to pro on the iPad specifically for delicious support and the lack of support for completion and existing tag list is a big disappointment. I'd rather see the native delicious browser view as suggested above rather than the current implementation.
