Error: TypeError: RIL.PREFS is undefined

  What version of RIL do you have?
  
  Also, where is this error appearing?

  Just got the same error here
  I have RIL 2.0.3
  Also the icon is not appearing anymore in the url bar.
  
  
  Indeed, the icon was not appearing so I went in the setting and when I click OK to close the setting windows, I got the error message    Private comment hidden

  If you restart Firefox and then immediately open the error console (under Tools -> Error console) and switch to the errors tab, are there any errors in there?
  
  You can right click them to copy the whole message.

    After a restart I got the following message (still Firefox 4b3, on 3.6 it was working, when I last tried):
    
    Error: Read It Later could not start because of the following error
    
    TypeError: Components.classes['@ril.ideashower.com/rilprefs;1'] is undefined
    
    TypeError: RIL.APP is undefined

  I got such an error from the Error console, when using Firefox 4 beta 3.

  Firefox 4 isn't supported yet but a beta version of RIL with support is coming very soon.
