nypost.com problems

First reported 916 days ago in Version iPod Touch Read It Later Pro 1.3.1 Version: iPod Touch Read It Later Pro 1.3.1 Browser: Safari

I can't seem to get pages from nypost.com to sync properly using the Tap to Save bookmarklet in the Touch's Safari browser. It keeps sending me to the Post's mobile home page upon opening RIL and syncing.

Is there a setting somewhere that will allow the offline viewing of the real page?

Thanks.

    Hey Steve

I know some sites redirect the iPhone to an 'optimized for the iPhone' version, which normally just means it takes you to a home page with a list of articles. (A pain when you want to read just one!)

I've considered adding a toggle inside that app that lets you 'fake' the user-agent for the phone, so it looks like it's a normal computer browser, and therefore it wouldn't be redirected.

I'll keep you posted as I try to improve compatibility with sites like this.

    Thanks!

Thanks. I'll look forward to the updates.

I found that if I click on the article I want, the whole list you mentioned gets downloaded. This is OK as I may want another one, but improved compatibility would be nice.

      Thanks for a nice app.
